Individual Therapy for Women in South Carolina

Maybe you've been fine - technically. Functioning. Keeping up with everything on your plate. But somewhere under the surface, something feels off. You're more tired than you should be. More anxious than you want to be. More disconnected from yourself than you remember being.

You've probably been telling yourself you should be able to handle this on your own. That other people have it harder. That you'll figure it out eventually.

But what if you didn't have to figure it out alone?

“Therapy isn't for people who are falling apart. It's for people who are tired of holding it all together by themselves.”

What We Work On

Areas of Focus

Anxiety & Worry

Anxiety is exhausting - especially when it's invisible to everyone around you. We'll work to understand what's driving it, interrupt the patterns that keep it going, and build real tools for when it shows up.

Life Transitions

Whether you're navigating a new relationship, the end of one, a career shift, becoming a mother, loss, or just a season that doesn't look like you expected - transitions can shake your sense of who you are. Therapy gives you a place to process it without losing your footing.

Self-Worth & People Pleasing

If you've spent years making yourself smaller, saying yes when you mean no, or measuring your value by how much you do for others - this is the work. We'll untangle where those patterns came from and start building something sturdier.

Stress & Burnout

Burnout isn't just being tired. It's when you've given so much for so long that you've lost access to yourself. We'll slow it down, figure out what's driving it, and build a way forward that doesn't require you to run on empty.

Trauma

Trauma doesn't always look like a single event. Sometimes it's years of things that felt wrong but you couldn't name. We work at your pace, with your safety as the priority, to help you process what happened and reconnect with the present.

Sessions are 50 minutes and can take place via secure telehealth from anywhere in South Carolina, or in person at my office on James Island. We'll meet weekly to start - that consistent rhythm makes a real difference in building momentum.

The first session is about getting to know each other. I'll ask questions, you'll share as much or as little as you're ready for, and together we'll start to map out what you're working toward. There's no pressure to have everything figured out before you come in.

I use CBT, TF-CBT, EFT & ACT — which means we'll spend time understanding how your thoughts, feelings, and patterns connect, and building concrete tools to shift what isn't working.
