Individual Therapy for Women in South Carolina

Maybe you've been fine - technically. Functioning. Keeping up with everything on your plate. But somewhere under the surface, something feels off. You're more tired than you should be. More anxious than you want to be. More disconnected from yourself than you remember being.

You've probably been telling yourself you should be able to handle this on your own. That other people have it harder. That you'll figure it out eventually.

But what if you didn't have to figure it out alone?

Who This is For

You might be a good fit for individual therapy if...

Anxiety has become your baseline — your mind is always a few steps ahead, bracing for something

  • You've been through something hard — infertility, a divorce, a loss, a health scare — and you're still carrying it

  • You don't recognize yourself anymore — and that goes way deeper than how you look

  • You're the person everyone else leans on and you have nowhere to put your own weight

  • You've been going through the motions and you're ready to actually feel something again

  • You're stuck in patterns you can't seem to break — whether that's how you talk to yourself, how you spend money, or how you show up in relationships

  • You want to understand yourself better — your triggers, your patterns, your worth

How You Feel Inside

Anxiety & Health Anxiety
Whether it's the constant low hum of worry or the specific dread that something is wrong with your body — anxiety is exhausting. We figure out where it's coming from and build real tools to turn the volume down.

Depression & Emotional Overwhelm
Sometimes it's not sadness — it's numbness, flatness, disconnection. We slow down, find what's underneath it, and work toward actually feeling like yourself again.

Self-Harm
If you've been hurting yourself as a way to cope, you're not broken — you found something that worked for a while and now you need something better. We work on understanding what it's doing for you and building safer ways to get there.

Grief & Loss
Grief doesn't follow a timeline and it doesn't always come with a death certificate. Loss of a pregnancy, a relationship, a version of your life you thought you'd have — all of it is real and all of it deserves space.

How You See Yourself

Body Image & Body Neutrality
If your relationship with your body has become a source of constant pain — whether that's obsessing over it, avoiding it, or going to war with it — we work toward something better than just "loving your body." Body neutrality is the goal: a body you can live in, not one you have to fight.

Self-Esteem & Confidence
Not the kind that comes from a pep talk. The kind that comes from actually understanding who you are, what you're worth, and what you're capable of — and building from there.

People-Pleasing & Boundary Challenges
If you've spent years making yourself smaller, saying yes when you mean no, or measuring your value by how much you do for others — this is the work. We untangle where it came from and start building something sturdier.

Perfectionism & Shame
The voice that says you're not enough, you're too much, you should have handled that better. We figure out where it came from and how to make it quieter.

Impulsive & Compulsive Behaviors
Whether it's shopping, scrolling, or something else that's become your go-to way of managing what you're feeling — we look at what it's doing for you and find more sustainable ways to get those needs met.

What Life Has Thrown At You

Infertility
The grief of infertility is real, layered, and often invisible to the people around you. Whether you're in the middle of treatment, processing a loss, or figuring out what's next — you deserve a space to fall apart a little and be put back together.

Separation & Divorce
Ending a marriage is one of the most disorienting things a person can go through — even when it's the right decision. We work through the grief, the identity shift, the fear, and the rebuilding.

Life Transitions
New job, new relationship, new city, new baby, empty nest, midlife — transitions shake your sense of who you are. Therapy gives you a place to process without losing your footing.

Postpartum & Perinatal Mental Health
The gap between what motherhood is supposed to feel like and what it actually feels like can be enormous. Whether it's postpartum anxiety, depression, or just feeling completely unlike yourself — this is a space where you can say what you can't say anywhere else.

Caregiver Fatigue
Taking care of others at the expense of yourself is its own kind of burnout. We work on what's yours to carry and what isn't.

How You’re Living Day To Day

Burnout & Stress
Burnout isn't just being tired. It's when you've given so much for so long that you've lost access to yourself. We slow it down, figure out what's driving it, and build a way forward that doesn't require you to run on empty.

Trauma
Trauma doesn't always look like a single event. Sometimes it's years of things that felt wrong but you couldn't name. We work at your pace, with your safety as the priority, to help you process what happened and reconnect with the present.

Codependency
If you feel responsible for other people's emotions, struggle to exist without the relationship, or lose yourself in the people you love — we work on understanding that pattern and finding your way back to yourself.

Relationship Stress
Not couples therapy — but the individual experience of being in a relationship that causes you pain, confusion, or a persistent sense that something is wrong. Your experience matters and deserves its own space.

Sessions are 50 minutes via secure, HIPAA-compliant video — available to anyone in South Carolina from wherever you are. We typically meet weekly to start, which builds real momentum.

The first session is about getting to know each other. You share as much or as little as you're ready for, I ask questions, and together we start to map out what you're working toward. There's no pressure to have it figured out before you come in. Figuring it out is the point.

I use CBT, ACT, EFT, and Trauma-Focused CBT — which means we spend time understanding where your patterns come from and building concrete tools to shift what isn't working. My style is warm and direct. I'll challenge you when it matters and sit with you when it doesn't.
