About Me

Welcome—I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Amy Gregorie, a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) offering telehealth services across South Carolina. I specialize in supporting adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, overwhelm, overthinking, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, and the exhausting pressure to always be “good enough.”

I earned a B.A. from the University of South Carolina and an M.Ed. in Counselor Education from The Citadel Graduate College.

My therapeutic style is warm, authentic, and evidence-based—with a healthy dose of humor and humanity. I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients from all walks of life can feel seen, supported, and empowered to create lasting, meaningful change.

You’re Not Alone

I work with adolescents and adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, constant worry, or a sense that something just isn’t right. Maybe your mind races at night, or you feel stuck in cycles of overthinking and self-doubt. You might avoid situations that feel uncomfortable or find yourself reacting more strongly than you’d like to everyday stressors.

Whether you're navigating school, work, relationships, or just trying to get through the day, anxiety can make everything feel harder. You don’t have to carry it alone. Therapy is a space to slow down, breathe, and start understanding what’s happening beneath the surface—so you can respond to life with more clarity, calm, and confidence.

My Approach

Connection and authenticity are at the heart of healing. When you feel safe and accepted, you’re more able to explore your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships with honesty and courage. I invite you into therapy exactly as you are—and I’ll meet you there, without judgment.

In our work together, I use a collaborative and compassionate approach, often drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This means we’ll focus on helping you make space for difficult thoughts and feelings while identifying what truly matters to you—and taking steps toward those values. We’ll work together to recognize your strengths and use them as a foundation for change and growth.

I won’t just sit back and nod. I’m interactive, direct, and real—with a healthy dose of humor when it fits. Your therapy experience will be personalized to you, with evidence-based tools and support that honor your goals, your pace, and your unique path.

Services

I offer individual therapy via telehealth to clients across South Carolina.

  • 50-Minute Session Fee: $80.00

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, I can provide you with a superbill—a detailed receipt that includes all the information your insurance company needs to consider reimbursement for out-of-network services.

If you have out-of-network mental health benefits, you may be able to submit the superbill to your insurance provider and receive partial reimbursement, depending on your plan. I recommend contacting your insurance company to ask:

  • Do I have out-of-network benefits for outpatient mental health?

  • What percentage of the session cost will be reimbursed?

  • Do I need to meet a deductible first?

Please note that payment is due at the time of service, and reimbursement is handled directly between you and your insurance provider.
